Team Rules
All divers must have an updated AAU membership in order to be on the boards.
Divers must arrive on time for practice.
Divers arriving late for practice will receive a warning.
Divers must follow all policies for using diving boards and other diving equipment.
Divers must attend all team meetings and team functions.
Divers must look at the coach when being coached (unless instructed otherwise).
Divers not looking at the coach, arguing with the coach, whining, or pouting, will be asked to leave practice.
Divers must attend all practices to participate in competition.
Divers registered in Junior Olympic programs are expected to participate in every competition.
Divers registered in Junior Olympic programs must compete on one meter AND three meter.
Divers missing practice must contact the coach before practice to explain why he or she cannot attend.
Divers must have a valid reason and be excused by the coach for missing practice.
Divers missing practice must make up those practices to participate in competition. Failure to do so will result in a warning.
Divers must be polite, supportive, and cooperative with the coach, teammates and pool staff.
Divers must wear team apparel to all competitions.
Divers may receive three warnings per season. A fourth incident results in dismissal from the team.
First incident: The diver meets with the coach to discuss the infraction and penalty.
Second incident: The diver and parents meet with the coach to discuss the infraction and penalty.
Third incident: The diver and parents meet with the coach to discuss the infraction and penalty.
Fourth incident: The diver is dismissed from the team.
Parents: Sideline coaching is absolutely prohibited.
If sideline coaching from parents/spectators is occurring in any form, practice will be dismissed and spectators will not be allowed on deck until further notice.

707 Diving prohibits all types of physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, bullying, threats, harassment and hazing, all as described in the USA Diving SafeSport Handbook. Participants, employees or volunteers in 707 Diving may be subject to disciplinary action and/or dismissal for violation of these policies or for engaging in any misconduct or abuse or that violates the USA Diving SafeSport Policies.
